Seattle Kraken forward Jordan Eberle is “doing well” after being cut by a skate in practice, head coach Dave Hakstol told reporters Thursday.
Eberle won’t be in the lineup against the Coloardo Avalanche on Thursday and is listed as day to day.
The 33-year-old forward has one goal and three assists in 13 games for the Kraken this season.
To replace Eberlel, the Kraken recalled Shane Wright on Wednesday. Wright, the fourth-overall pick of the 2022 NHL Draft, has four goals and six points in seven games for AHL Coachella Valley.
Last season, after spending eight games with the Kraken and registering just two points, he returned to the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL, where he had 15 goals and 37 points in 20 games. He led the Spitfires to the playoffs, but was back in the AHL after losing in the first round.
The Kraken (4-6-3) are fifth in the Pacific Division.
