Reports: Steelers QB Pickett (knee) not expected to miss much time

The Pittsburgh Steelers got good news on a knee injury suffered by starting quarterback Kenny Pickett, per multiple reports on Monday.

Pickett’s bone bruise from Sunday’s loss to the Houston Texans is not expected to keep him out long-term, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said.

There is a chance the Steelers (2-2) keep him out this coming Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens as Pittsburgh is on a bye the following week.

Pickett exited after being sacked late in the third quarter of a 30-6 loss to Houston.

Mitch Trubisky replaced Pickett.
