Raptors sign centre Makur Maker to non-guaranteed deal

The Toronto Raptors have signed centre and G Leaguer Makur Maker, the club announced Saturday.

The Raptors did not officially disclose the length or value of the contract. However according to Sportsnet’s Blake Murphy, Maker was signed to an Exhibit 10 deal — a minimum, non-guaranteed deal to come to camp.

Maker, 22, previously played in the Washington Wizards organization, playing the 2022-23 season with their G League affiliate, Capital City Go-Go. Prior to that, Maker played for the Chicago Bulls in the 2022 NBA Summer League.

The undrafted centre played 30 games last season in the G League, averaging 7.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists over 20.6 minutes.
