Pelicans’ Williamson cleared for on-court activities, to be re-evaluated in two weeks

New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson has been cleared to return to on-court activities after an evaluation of his right hamstring strain, the team announced.

Williamson will be re-evaluated in two weeks, which is near the end of the regular season.

Williamson, who’s averaging 26 points and seven rebounds this season, hasn’t played since Jan. 2.

The Pelicans are currently in a battle to make the Western Conference play-in, sitting in 12th — half a game back of the No. 10 Utah Jazz.
