New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson will miss the team’s next three games and the NBA All-Star Game, head coach Willie Green told reporters Wednesday.
The 22-year-old has not played since suffering a hamstring injury against the Philadelphia 76ers on Jan. 2.
Williamson was voted to be an All-Star starter for the event taking place in Salt Lake City on Feb. 19.
His absence makes him the third All-Star starter expected to miss the game along with Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry.
In the 29 games this season, Williamson has averaged 26 points, seven rebounds and 4.6 assists.
